my names emily, i'm 20 years old and i like music.
here’s my biggest query. celebrity perfumes? why? in the space of putting my fingers to the keyboard and tapping out that question, i answered it in my head. ‘money, of course’. so with that query figured out, i’m on to my next one. why do people buy them? because in all honesty, the thought of smelling like Coleen Rooney makes me feel a little bit sick in my mouth. after a trip to the shops recently, i happened to wander past Boots and decided to do a bit of market research. once i’d finished spraying myself with every celebrity owned perfume there was (and watching a woman spray herself all over with one, including her arm pits) i just couldn’t see the attraction. i’m also finding it hard to believe that even the celebrity would be caught dead wearing their own cheap fragrance? i scuttled home smelling strongly of an unwashed prostitute, mulling over the same question in my head. i still haven’t reached my conclusion.
